The SmartICE application is a smart tool forreading-using a smartphone IOS system- equippedwith NFC- reading information about the users healthcondition, medicine intake, the contacts of trustedloved ones, and personal data that is stored on mediadevices such as the "ICE band, life bracelet, ICE card,ICE sticker, medical headband, ICE tag, ICE patch."These devices are very useful in emergency situationswhere first aid is needed; especially when a useris unresponsive or has lost conciousness.
Usingthe SmartICE application, the rescuer can read thepersonal data contained on the ICE band, ICE card,ICE key ring, or ICE patch.The SmartICE application does not use the users inter‐net, which makes personal data completely safe.
Afterclosing the application, the users personal data is per‐manently removed from the users device .
